TeachMeChess.com presents... SCHOLASTICS.TEACHMECHESS.COM! Traditionally, TeachMeChess has focused on building adult chess in the south eastern United States. Today, we are moving towards promoting more scholastic chess and kicking off with the South Alabama Scholastic Championship on February 28 (see flier below). We hope to teach this game to our youth, as we know the benefits of it in our own lives. Improved critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and a great social environment are just a few of the reasons chess is so popular and so positive. As you can see, we are currently building this site. So, bare with us, give us a few months to get a bunch of content on here, and visit www.teachmechess.com, our main site for current information on scholastics. TeachMeChess.com is the adult branch of our organization, and as a warning to parents, we have allowed our members to speak freely on the TeachMeChess adult forums, so there might be a bit of adult language. We advise you restrict your children to this scholastic site which is G rated in every article, video, and annotation, and link. |
